Charles - This pic is regarding the tale of a woman who gets out of her home in the night to go looking for a candle because her child is afraid of the dark ; on her path she crosses a group of strangers she doesn't see on their faces ( but we know are the lost souls who walk the night ), but one of them , without even speaking gives her gives her a "candle" ; she's happy to have found what she was looking for and goes home . The next morning ,she'll find out the "candle" was in reality the finger of a dead man with a ghostly light on its top ... As you see , like many legends all oner the world , not gruesome but with weird spin in it ... THanks for stopping by and commenting !
Oh!! A tribute to Tales from the Crypt and the horror tales from the oldies times... I really love it, i spend a lot of hours reading this old magazines and when I was really young (14 years I think) I drawed 30 short stories with only two pages, a tribute (a copy some times) like the stories from Eerie or Creepy magazines. I lost these short comics, what a pity. Good luck with your project and and amazing work with the pencils.
Silvano: You know the old works from Mike Ratera? I suposse that you´ll like it. Try find a story called "Hunter", is really good.
Sorry, I dont put a traslantion at this post... Its a interview about me and got a lot of difficults words, but I promise put a simple translation gadget for all the international friends. Good Spring Time Brother!!!
Plastiko - Wow ! I'd really ,really like to see some of your horroe work !"Hunter" was a maniac wearing a hockey mask similar to FridaY 13's Jason ? I seem to remember to read something like that in a magazine published here in Italy in the early nineties ,which hosted mainly Spanish stuff ; my favourite was a character called "Angel" , who was another psycho maniac hunted down by a gang of priests who think this guy's the antichist ... Thanks for visiting and commenting !
Yeah brother, Hunter is the man with the hockey mask who kill the sensual youngs. And Angel is also amazing, but not exactly a slasher, is like the underground stories from Chuck Pahlaniuk, but with a psicokiller like hero. The man who draw Hunter, Mike Ratera, were my teacher in a comic school, actually he draw fantastic. For me is a legend, but I prefer the old times. The other, the autor from Angel, Iron, actually got a Tatoo Studio I hear.
Plastiko - Great as always to have you here , Bro ! So you had Ratera as a teacher ? WOW ! I really envy you ! Thanks to take the time for dropping by and commenting

I love this picture. Very spooky. Is the girl holding the skeleton's finger??
