.... And this is BURLESQUE !

Grazie a Lucka x i colori !
Altough reading the recent Italian news concerning one of the processes an ex-premier is going through , ome might think differently , "Burlesque" is a long-standing tradition in entertainment ( not whoring ! ) that goes from the legendary Bettie Page coming to contemporaries like Dita Von Teese ( " Ms. Marilyn Manson" ! ) and our Sally Van Tassel ...
Thanks to Lucka for the colorization !

Anniversaries... ( 2 )

Another important annivesary has been last year's sixtieth year of publication for TEX , with which he gets to be the longest Italian comic strip ever ...He's never been among my favourites , but some year ago , I've been commissioned a portrait of him , for once in the company of a babe ( who for an unknown reason had to be a sort of Bettie Page lookalike ) , instead of the usual bunch of buffalos , redskins ,deperadoes, etc...

Anniversaries...

When I've been asked to draw an illustration for a feature on Mickey's eightiteth anniversary om a local newspaper , I found myself drawing one of the really few comic characters I really dislike ...
